Honourable Minister for Youth Development Hosts UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs on His Birthday, Strengthening Nigeria-UN Collaboration





Even on his birthday, the Honourable Minister for Youth Development welcomed Dr. Felipe Paullier (@paullierfelipe), UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs, for a strategic dialogue on enhancing youth development partnerships. Discussions centered on expanding youth inclusion, innovation, and governance participation while aligning Nigeria’s priorities with the UN’s global youth agenda.



Key initiatives like the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA), Youth Help Desk, and Yo Health Initiative were highlighted as pathways to empowering young Nigerians.



The meeting also explored UN support to scale impactful programs and position Nigerian youth as drivers of sustainable development.
