THE EFFORTS OF THE AKURE SECURITY JOINT TASK FORCE "TIGER BASE" ARE BEGINNING TO SHOW POSITIVE RESULTS IN CRIME REDUCTION IN AKURE SOUTH


A few weeks ago, the Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Dr. Fasua Gbenga Timothy, demonstrated his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property within Akure South and surrounding areas by establishing the AKURE SECURITY JOINT TASK FORCE, called “Tiger Base.” This agency is part of strategic efforts to fight crime, strengthen local security measures, and restore peace across the area.


Tiger Base operatives recently achieved significant success by arresting some suspected criminals within Akure South. This development confirms that the agency is well-equipped and ready to protect lives and property and actively fight insecurity.


Hon. Fasua praised the officers for their dedication, bravery, and quick response. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting all security initiatives that foster peace, lawfulness, and order in Akure South Local Government.


The Chairman also called on residents and community leaders to continue cooperating with security agencies by sharing timely and helpful information to support the fight against crime.


He assured the people of Akure South that Tiger Base operatives will remain committed to their mission of creating a safer and more secure environment for all.
