Stop Dragging The Church, Bishop Borokini in The Mud —Anglican Youths Warn Petitioners
We, the concerned youth of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, particularly from the Ondo Ecclesiastical Province and the Akure Anglican Diocese, are issuing this statement with a deep sense of responsibility and righteous indignation.
We call on Chief Mrs. Koseemani Kolawole, Chief Mrs. Rachel Falae and their cohorts to immediately cease and desist from dragging the sacred name of our Church in the mud. We are watching with dismay as you continue to wage a personal battle under the guise of public interest.
Enough is enough. If these relentless public attacks do not stop, we the diocesan youth may be forced to mobilize and stage a peaceful protest against this ungodly character assassination. We will not sit by while the Body of Christ is ridiculed.
The Fact that the Primate who is the Spiritual and Administrative Head of The Church has taken over the issue and should be allowed to look into the matter through the internal resolution mechanism.
More importantly the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion is a structured spiritual body with robust internal conflict resolution mechanisms. The Bible provides clear steps on how to settle disputes among the brethren. You are not representing our interest as a church, you are fighting for your selfish and personal interests.
Why the obsessive call for the head of The Most Rev. Simeon Borokini? This bloodthirsty pursuit is ungodly. We say again, stop disrespecting God and stop disrespecting the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion. Let the internal mechanisms of the Church and the competent Federal authorities do their work.
