EID-EL-KABIR: ADEGBONMIRE FELICITATES MUSLIM FAITHFUL, DISTRIBUTES COWS, RAMS, CASH, FOOD ITEMS ACROSS ONDO CENTRAL.



The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN, has felicitated with Muslim faithful in Ondo Central Senatorial District, Ondo State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, calling on Nigerians to continue to embrace sacrifice, peace, tolerance, unity and unwavering faith in God for the progress of the nation.


In the Eid message personally signed, Adegbonmire described the festival as one of the most important spiritual celebrations in Islam, symbolizing total obedience to Almighty Allah, selflessness, compassion and commitment to humanity as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.


Adegbonmire commended Muslim faithful for their prayers, support and contributions towards the peace, unity and development of Ondo State and Nigeria, while urging Nigerians not to relent in supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in their efforts to reposition the country for sustainable economic growth, infrastructural development and national stability under the Renewed Hope Agenda.


He acknowledged that while the nation is currently passing through economic adjustments and reforms, the policies being implemented by the Federal Government are already yielding positive indicators capable of restoring Nigeria to the path of prosperity, growth and long-term stability.


As part of activities marking the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Adegbonmire distributed cows, rams, cash, and other food items to Muslim groups, Islamic clerics, traditional leaders, APC stakeholders, party faithful, women groups, youths and vulnerable constituents across the six local government areas of Ondo Central Senatorial District.


The lawmaker explained that the gesture was part of his continuous commitment to identifying with the people at all times, especially during important religious celebrations, while also supporting families and vulnerable citizens amid prevailing economic realities.


He prayed that the blessings and lessons of Eid-el-Kabir would bring peace, prosperity, divine favour and renewed hope to every family, Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
