Reaffirms Support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Re-election and APC Governorship Candidate in Osun State





The Executive Director, Corporate Services of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, Hon. Ifedayo Sunday Abegunde (ABENA), joined the leadership of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA 2.0) at a special luncheon and the official launch of the support group in Osogbo, Osun State.


Hon. Abegunde attended the event in his capacity as the SWAGA 2.0 Ondo State Coordinator, alongside the National Chairman of SWAGA, Sen. Adedayo Adeyeye; the Convener, Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo; the Chairman of SWAGA Osun State, Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran; the APC Governorship Candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), who was represented by his wife, Dr. Sekinat Oyebamiji; the former First Lady of Osun State and wife of the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Her Excellency, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola; as well as other party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).



The gathering served as a strategic platform to strengthen the unity and vision of SWAGA 2.0 while reaffirming the group's unwavering commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the 2027 general election and the victory of the APC Governorship Candidate in the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election.


In his address, the Convener of SWAGA 2.0, Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, reaffirmed the group's unwavering commitment to the political vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He emphasized the importance of unity, loyalty, and grassroots mobilization in securing the President's re-election in 2027 and urged members across the South-West to remain steadfast, committed, and focused on strengthening the APC while working tirelessly to ensure victory for the party's governorship candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).


Also speaking, the National Chairman of SWAGA, Sen. Adedayo Adeyeye, charged members to remain united and committed to the ideals of the support group. He stressed that SWAGA 2.0 remains a formidable platform for mobilizing grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and for ensuring the continued success of the All Progressives Congress.


The programme featured opening prayers, the introduction of guests, a welcome address by the Chairman of SWAGA Osun State, Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran, keynote address delivered on behalf of the APC Governorship Candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), by Dr. Sekinat Oyebamiji. She conveyed the candidate's appreciation to the leadership of SWAGA 2.0 for its steadfast support and expressed confidence in the APC's victory in the forthcoming governorship election.


Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde reaffirmed his commitment to the vision and objectives of SWAGA 2.0 and pledged to continue mobilizing support across Ondo State and the South-West for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the electoral succes ois of the APC. He called on party members and supporters to remain united, focused, and dedicated to strengthening the party from the grassroots.


The event concluded with a vote of thanks and closing prayers as participants renewed their commitment to the successful expansion of SWAGA 2.0, the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027, and the victory of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) in the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election.
