OMO EKUN TEAM INTENSIFIES GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION



Ahead of the 2027 general election, the Omo Ekun Team of the Most Distinguished Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, has continued its grassroots mobilisation across Ondo West Local Government Area with a meeting with the Ondo State Artisans Group, Ondo West Chapter.


The engagement highlighted the importance of the group in the actualisation of victory for the APC candidates in the forthcoming general election, considering its thousands of members who are eligible voters across the local government.


Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Samuel Olafisoye, Media Aide to Senator Adegbonmire, appreciated the leadership and members of the group for the opportunity to meet with them and for their continued support for the APC-led government. He stressed the need for the group to remain supportive of the government in power while highlighting some of the achievements and interventions of Senator Adegbonmire.


Hon. Olabimi Arowolo spoke on the APC candidates ahead of the 2027 election, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, and Hon. Akintomide Ajilo, MHR candidate, alongside other APC candidates.


Otunba Olusegun Akanji, Hon. Adepoju Desodun, and Comrade Oluwasina Wisdom Kalakuta also enlightened the artisans on the need to support the continuation of the APC-led government and emphasised the importance and benefits of having a ranking senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District.


Responding on behalf of the group, Comrade Olaoye Olalekan, General Chairman of the Ondo State Artisans Group, Ondo West Chapter, appreciated the Omo Ekun Team for the visit. He acknowledged the physical projects and interventions of Senator Adegbonmire and reaffirmed the group's support for the APC-led government, stating that the artisans would continue to support the party in government.


Also present at the meeting were Comrade Olaoye Olalekan, Chairman; Comrade Henry Olabanjo, General Secretary; Comrade Rasaki Ayodele, Public Relations Officer; and other chairmen of the various artisan groups under the Ondo State Artisans Group, Ondo West Chapter.
