CITY BOY MOVEMENT AKURE SOUTH STRATEGIZES FOR 2027 VICTORY
Pays Courtesy Visits to Akure South APC Chairman and Akure South Local Government Chairman
The City Boy Movement, Akure South Chapter, has intensified its mobilization strategy ahead of the 2027 general elections with courtesy visits to key party leaders in Akure South.
Visit to Akure South APC Party Chairman:
The Movement, led by its leadership Hon. Akinlolu Vincent Oyetunde, met with the Akure South APC Party Chairman, Dr. Gbenga Jemiluyi, to strategize on the winning formula for 2027.
Dr. Jemiluyi appreciated the Movement for its coordination and steadfastness, assuring members that their time and support invested in the party will never go unnoticed.
"Our efforts shall be crowned with victory come 2027," he stated.
The Chairman recounted his own ordeals as a party stalwart and thanked God for changing the narrative. He noted that within his short period as party chairman, he has demonstrated the capacity to move the party forward.
He also commended the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, for his benevolence and immense support for the APC in Ondo State, the youth constituency, and Nigeria at large.
Courtesy Visit to Akure South Local Government Chairman:
In a similar vein, the Movement paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Fasua, where they held extensive deliberations on the APC's winning formula for Akure South and Ondo State at large.
Hon. Fasua commended the growing influence and projection of the City Boy Movement in Akure South and Ondo State, noting that the Movement is a veritable vehicle to mobilize support for the party across the 36 states of the federation.
He lauded the impact of the Movement and commended the leadership of Hon. Akinlolu Vincent, the Akure South Local Government Coordinator of the City Boy Movement.
The Council Chairman also commended the leadership of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his infrastructural drive and developmental strides across Nigeria, and expressed confidence in the leadership of Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whom he described as a good ambassador of the state with an unblemished mandate.
He appreciated the City Boy Movement for its sagacity and commitment to the party.
The delegation also used the opportunity to visit and congratulate the newly appointed Secretary to the Akure South Local Government, Hon. Adeola Iteyemi Adegoroye, who is a proud member of the City Boy Movement, expressing confidence that he will be a worthy ambassador of the youth.
