Akure South APC Youth Summit 2.0: Power Meets The Next Generation



The 2026 Akure South APC Youth Summit promises to be a remarkable gathering dedicated to youth empowerment, leadership development, political participation and sustainable progress in Akure South Local Government. 


This historic initiative is designed to create an avenue for meaningful engagement, intellectual advancement and constructive interaction between political leaders, government functionaries, youths and elders.


The summit will feature distinguished personalities occupying strategic positions in government and public service, including His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, (Executive Governor of Ondo State), Hon. Ayodele Olawande (Honourable Minister of Youth Development) Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN (Chairman of the Occasion), Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde Abena For The People (Executive Director, Corporate Services, Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC) and Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti (Secretary to the Ondo State Government). 

Their presence will provide an exceptional opportunity for participants to interact with these prominent leaders and meet them in person.


Other distinguished personalities expected include Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu, (Chief Launcher) Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, (Mother of the Day), Dr. Donald Gbenga Fasua, (Executive Chairman Akure South Local Government), Hon. Femi Meshe (Co-Launcher) and Hon. Omoyofunmi Henry IBB, (Commissioner for Youth and Sports as Guest of Honour).


Also featured are: Hon. Opeyemi Adedeji (APC Ondo State Youth Leader) and Comrade Adetunji Oluwaseyi (APC Youth Leader, Akure South), who will contribute to the summit's youth-focused vision.


This summit is not exclusively for young people alone, both youths and elders are cordially invited to participate in this momentous occasion. It will provide a valuable platform for intergenerational dialogue, mentorship, networking and the exchange of progressive ideas.
