2027 SENATOR DANDUTSE UNOPPOSED MANDATE: HOW SENATOR DANDUTSE DECADES OF DEDICATED SERVICE SECURED KATSINA SOUTH TRUST

​For over two decades, Most distinguished Senator Muhammad Muntari Dandutse, now, the distinguished Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund—has remained an unshakeable political cornerstone in Katsina South (Funtua Zone), earning the rare consensus status as the All Progressives Congress (APC) unopposed candidate for reelection in 2027.


Senator Muntari Dandutse continuous trajectory of leadership began in 2003, serving as a three-time caretaker chairman and a three-time elected chairman of Funtua Local Government Area, where his hands-on local administration laid a solid foundation for grassroots development.



Despite experiencing a brief court setback eight months into his initial 2011 federal transition, Dandutse bounced back with overwhelming victories in 2015 and 2019 to serve two highly impactful terms in the House of Representatives for the Funtua/Dandume Federal Constituency.


Dandutse remarkable political longevity underscores an exceptional gift of public acceptance, built on decades of sustained accessibility, justice, and unyielding advocacy for his constituents.
