TRIBUTE TO AN ICON OF INTEGRITY, COURAGE AND UNWAVERING PRINCIPLES IN HONOUR OF PA REUBEN FAMUYIDE FASORANTI





A Life of Conviction, a Legacy of Honour 

Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti was a man of exceptional character, uncommon courage, and unwavering principles. Throughout his life, he remained steadfast in his commitment to truth, justice, equity, and human dignity, refusing to compromise his values despite changing political circumstances and societal challenges.


Baba Fasoranti understood that true greatness is measured not by wealth, position, or influence, but by strength of character, consistency of convictions, and meaningful service to humanity. His unwavering commitment to advancing the Yoruba people, developing Ondo State, and advancing Nigeria distinguished him as a courageous statesman and a voice of conscience.


In a world where people sometimes sacrifice principles for convenience, Baba stood firm in his convictions. He demonstrated that integrity is best revealed when tested, and that truth, justice, and a good name are far more valuable than temporary personal gain. Beyond public life, he cherished family values, unity, and loyalty. His devotion to the Gbeleaje family and concern for the welfare of his people reflected a man whose greatness was rooted not only in his principles but also in his humility and genuine regard for others.


His life aptly reflects the timeless wisdom of Proverbs 22:1:

"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold."-KJV


As we reflect on his remarkable life, the greatest honour we can accord him is to uphold the values he represented. May his courage inspire us, his integrity challenge our conscience and his commitment to justice and unity strengthen our resolve to build a better Ondo State and a greater Nigeria.

Though Baba has departed this earthly life, his legacy of honour, patriotism, resilience, and selfless service will endure. His life reminds us that true greatness lies in standing firmly for what is right and leaving behind values that continue to guide and inspire generations.


We pray that Almighty God will comfort the Fasoranti family, the Afenifere, the people of Ondo State, the Yoruba nation, Nigeria, and all who mourn his passing. May God grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss and preserve the unity and cherished values Baba held dear.


Baba, you lived with honour, stood with courage, served with conviction, and remained faithful to your principles until the end. Your voice may be silent, but your values will continue to speak, and your legacy will inspire generations to come,
