...Urges Ondo Residents To Be Vigilant, Security Conscious

A Time to Renew Faith, Embrace Hope, and Stand United.




As Christians in Ondo State, Nigeria, and across the world gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I, Prince Abiodun 'Derin Adesida, Honourable Member Representing Akure North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, extend my warmest Easter greetings to all Christian faithful.


Easter is a season that symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, of life over death, and of hope over despair. It is a time to reflect on the love and sacrifice of Christ, and to draw strength from His resurrection, which reminds us that no matter the trials we face, triumph is always possible through faith, unity, and perseverance.


In this spirit, I urge all Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and consistent in their commitment to the values of love, peace, and community service. Now more than ever, our society needs the healing touch of compassion, empathy, and brotherhood that this season inspires.


I also call on all residents and indigenes of Akure North and South, and indeed the entire Ondo State, to remain vigilant and security conscious at all times. Let us continue to cooperate with security agencies by reporting any suspicious activity around us. Security is a shared responsibility, and together, we can make our communities safer for everyone.


While it is true that our nation and our dear state are facing significant socio-economic and security challenges, we must not allow these difficulties to break our spirit. Rather, we must confront them with faith, courage, and collective determination. We are resilient people, and I strongly believe that with unity and mutual support, we will overcome these trials and emerge stronger.


As we celebrate Easter, let us also take time to pray for peace in our land, for wisdom for our leaders, and for divine intervention in our personal lives, communities, and our great nation.


Once again, I wish all Christians a blessed, joyful, and peaceful Easter celebration. May this season bring renewed hope, strength, and progress to every household.
