OTETUBI COMMENDS GOV. AIYEDATIWA'S DEVELOPMENTAL INITIATIVE:


LAUDS THE GOVERNOR FOR PRIORITIZING THE DUALIZATION OF AKURE-IDANRE ROAD, OTHERS 










Otetubi Lauds Gov. Aiyedatiwa over Akure-Idanre Road Dualization, Others.


A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ondo State, Hon. Idowu Otetubi, has lauded Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for the dualization of the Akure-Idanre road, described it as a transformative project that showcases the governor’s commitment to infrastructural development.


Otetubi, a renowned Chartered Accountant, former Chairman of the old Akure Local Government and a former Commissioner for Natural Resources praised Aiyedatiwa for turning the state around through strategic initiatives that have enhanced connectivity, boosted economic activities, and improved the quality of life for residents.


“We have road construction ongoing across the nooks and crannies of the state, and other laudable projects,”


He underscored the road construction as a testament to the governor’s vision for a modern and prosperous Ondo State, noting that the dualization has not only eased transportation but also attracted investors to the region, fostering economic growth.


The APC chieftain further commended Aiyedatiwa’s inclusive governance style, which he said has prioritized the needs of both rural and urban communities.


“The Akure-Idanre road dualization has significantly reduced travel time, improved safety, and opened up opportunities for farmers and traders in Idanre to access larger markets in Akure and beyond,” he added.


The Akure born politician also applauded the governor’s focus on other sectors, such as education, healthcare, and youth empowerment, which he described as critical to the state’s sustainable development.


The former Akure local government boss called on the people of Ondo State to rally behind Aiyedatiwa’s administration, emphasizing that continued support would enable the governor to deliver more dividends of democracy.


He urged residents to shun divisive politics and work collectively to sustain the momentum of progress in the state, while expressing optimism that Aiyedatiwa’s leadership would position Ondo State as a model for good governance and infrastructural excellence in Nigeria, encouraging other political leaders to emulate the governor’s dedication to public service.
