AN OPEN LETTER TO THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE WORKING COMMITTEE OF ADC, ABUJA

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE WORKING COMMITTEE OF ADC, ABUJA

The National Chairman,

His Excellency, Distinguished Sen. Dr. David Mark, GCON,

National Executive Working Committee,

African Democratic Congress (ADC),

Abuja.

A PASSIONATE APPEAL FOR FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE

We, the members of the G-25 Political Group, who recently decamped to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the prestigious PTI Conference Centre, Effurun, Delta State, write to express our concerns and appeal to your noble leadership. Our group, led by Mr. Fortune Oyadoghan and Hon. (Arch.) AKPOVOKA Efeni Julius, officially joined the ADC, bringing with us over 4,000 dedicated members from various political parties.

A CALL TO REJECT ILLEGITIMATE REPRESENTATION

We bring to your notice that a list of purported executive members has been submitted to your office by Engr. Austin C. Okolie, the State Chairman of ADC, and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, along with their cohorts. However, we wish to inform you that the individuals on this list are, in fact, stalwarts of the APC and PDP who have not officially defected to our great party. These individuals are mere opportunists seeking to hijack the party's structure and machinery for their selfish interests, working against the party's interests and in favour of the opposition party, APC.

THE GENUINE MEMBERS OF ADC

We, the G-25 Political Group, are the genuine members of the ADC, having officially decamped from various political parties to join the ADC. Our group represents a significant bloc of dedicated members who are passionate about building a stronger ADC in Delta State, from the grassroots (units level) to the state level. We are the ones who have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the party's principles and ideals.

A PLEA FOR RECOGNITION AND INCLUSION

We humbly appeal to you, the National Executive Working Committee of ADC, to reject any list submitted by Engr. Austin C. Okolie and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru. Instead, we urge you to consider our group, the G-25 Political Group, in any executive list to be submitted. We believe that our dedication, passion, and commitment to the party's ideals make us the most suitable candidates to lead the party in Delta State. Not including some of our genuine decampees' names in the state executive list will not show fairness and justice, which are the core values that our group stands for.

A MESSAGE OF UNITY AND PROGRESS

We are confident that, under your leadership, the ADC will emerge as a formidable force in Nigerian politics. We pledge to work tirelessly to build a stronger party, and we look forward to your recognition and support. For total victory in 2027, we appeal to all our national leaders to do the needful by motivating the newly decampees and giving us the opportunity to serve the party.

FAIRNESS, EQUITY, AND JUSTICE FOR ALL

We believe that our group deserves to be recognized and included in the party's executive list. We stand for fairness, equity, and justice, and we are confident that your leadership will ensure that these values are upheld.

Thank you, Sir.

Sincerely,

Mr. Fortune Oyadoghan and Hon. (Arch.) AKPOVOKA Efeni Julius, Coordinators, G-25 Political Group, Delta State.
