...Idoani Students Benefit from Wale Akingbade's Generosity
An educationist, Olawale Akingbade, an Idoani indigene has granted scholarship for some students in Idoani.
The event which held at the Ire-Akari Grammar School compound had in attendance, parents of the benefiting students, management and staff of the benefiting schools.
In his opening remarks, the principal Irekari Comprehensive grammar school Idoani, Mr. Ayodele appreciate the kind gesture of the sponsor. He praised his thoughtfulness and insights, describing the scholarship as well thought out and very commendable.
He charged other spirited individuals to emulate the kind gesture of Mr. Wale Akingbade.
Responding on behalf of the sponsor, Mr Ade Akingbade, who represented him described the scholarship as borne-out of a long time passionate desire to give back to his society. He described the scholarship as though maiden, but promised to sustain it and even make it grow bigger and larger in scope in the subsequent editions.
He charged the beneficiaries never to let down their guards, urging them to see the scholarship as a launch-pad for more academic successes, which had hitherto qualified them as a beneficiary in the first place.
The parents of the beneficiaries were full of gratitudes and prayed for continuous provision and blessings for the sponsor.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Master Ibrahim Mohammed thanked the sponsor for his generosity and prayed for long life and more impactful years of service to humanity, as the sponsor is also celebrating his birthday anniversary.
