2025 LAS SUMMIT BY NOELLA FOUNDATION: HONOURABLE AYODELE OLAWANDE GOODWILL MESSAGE.

Goodwill Message Delivered at the 2025 Life After School Summit by Hon Ayodele Olawande; Honourable Minister for Youth Development Federal Republic of Nigeria

Ayodele Olawande, the Honorable Minister for Youth Development delivered the Goodwill Message at this year’s edition of the Life After School (LAS) Summit, hosted by the Noella Foundation in Lagos.

The annual event serves as an inspiring reminder that the real journey begins after formal education, where certificates give way to character, and grades make room for grit.

The transition from campus to career, though challenging, becomes a launchpad for greatness when armed with the right skills, values, and mindset.

Addressing over 500 young graduates, the Youth Minister emphasized that life would test their patience but never their purpose.

Key advice included the importance of continuous learning, voluntary service, starting small but with strong foundations, and cultivating discipline and meaningful relationships.

A pivotal message underscored that the first five years post-graduation would significantly shape the next fifty years of their lives.

Drawing from personal experiences, Hon. Ayodele Olawande cautioned against shortcuts that prioritize wealth over wisdom and urged attendees to avoid comparing their journeys to others’, as every destiny unfolds on its own timeline.

His speech also highlighted ongoing youth empowerment initiatives such as NiYA, YouthCred, and Yo! Health under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

These programs aim to ensure education translates into employment, enterprise, and empowerment. Special gratitude was extended to Mrs. Layal Tinubu and the Noella Foundation for their unwavering commitment to nurturing a generation of doers, dreamers, and nation-builders.
