Dear Esteemed People of the Niger Delta Region,


As we celebrate this joyous season of Christmas, I, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, Executive Director, Corporate Services of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), extend heartfelt greetings and wish you all a Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, and renewed hope.


Christmas reminds us of the birth of Jesus Christ, whose life exemplified peace and harmony. I urge you to continue living together in peace and harmony, two of the major attributes of our Lord Jesus, fostering unity across our diverse communities in the Niger Delta.


During this festive period, let us act and celebrate with caution. Avoid any behaviour that could jeopardise your lives and health, such as excessive drinking or reckless driving, ensuring that the season brings only happiness and safety to your families.


I call upon you to join in prayer for the peace and prosperity of the Niger Delta region. May divine blessings abound, bringing sustainable development, economic growth, and tranquillity to every corner of our beloved homeland.


Furthermore, continue to pray for and support His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu. Through his Renewed Hope Agenda, he has been steadfastly addressing Nigeria's age-long challenges, paving the way for national progress and inclusivity.
