Ondo @50: Hon. Mrs Bukola Ajayi a.k.a Iya Oodua Congratulates People of Ondo State, Commends Gov. Aiyedatiwa's Governance, Lauds Transformational Leadership






In a statement issued to reporters on January 29, 2026, Special Assistant to Gov Aiyedatiwa on Non-indigene women, Hon. Bukola Ajayi, extended her warmest congratulations to the people of Ondo State on the occasion of Ondo @50, marking 50 years since the state's creation.


She commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa's administration for his commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability, highlighting notable achievements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and security that have significantly improved the quality of life for residents.


"I celebrate 50 years of progress, resilience, and unity," Hon. Bukola said. "Governor  Ayedatiwa's visionary leadership has been exemplary, and I urge all Ondo residents to support his efforts to build a better state. 


His administration's dedication to the development of human capital, particularly in education, is noteworthy and deserves commendation.


The improvements in security have also boosted economic activities and social stability."


She prayed, "May Almighty God bless Ondo State with peace, prosperity, and continued progress.


May Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa's administration be guided by wisdom and success as they continue to serve the state, and may the state continue to be a model for others to emulate."


Hon. (Mrs) Bukola Ajayi a.k.a Iya Oodua wished Ondo State sustained growth, development, and prosperity in the years ahead, as it continues to be a beacon of hope and progress in the region, leveraging its rich human and natural resources.
