Adegbonmire SAN Condoles with Agamo Community Over the Killing of Traditional Ruler.





The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Adeniyi Adegbonmire,SAN,has expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the tragic killing of the traditional ruler of Agamo Community in Akure North Local Government Area, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kehinde Jacob Falodun.


In a condolence message, Adegbonmire described the gruesome murder as barbaric, shocking, and a painful assault on the peace, heritage, and traditional institution of Agamo Kingdom.


He noted that the late monarch was a symbol of unity, culture, and grassroots leadership whose contributions to community development and stability will never be forgotten.


The Senator extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Agamo Community, the bereaved royal family, traditional rulers across Akure North, and the entire Ondo Central Senatorial District over the irreparable loss.


“This heinous act is not only an attack on a revered monarch but also on our collective values and security as a people" He stated.


He called on security agencies to launch a thorough and immediate investigation to ensure that those responsible for the dastardly act are apprehended and brought to justice without delay. 


He further assured the community of his continued support in advocating for improved security architecture across the district.


While urging residents to remain calm and law-abiding, the lawmaker emphasized the need for unity and cooperation with law enforcement authorities to prevent further breakdown of peace.


“May Almighty God grant the soul of Oba Kehinde Jacob Falodun eternal rest and grant his family and the Agamo Community the fortitude to bear this painful loss,” the statement concluded.
