Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, born 26 April 1961 for Akure, na fifth pikin out of seven from Chief Johnson Bosede, di late Odopetu of Isinkan Akure, and Mrs C.O Jegede from Ipele near Owo. Him grandpa na big trader wey dey do hardware and gun bizness, leave big house for Akure town. 


He do primary for St. Stephen’s SA School Modakeke, secondary for Aquinas College Akure (1973-1978) as senior prefect and sport man, den Higher School for Christ School Ado-Ekiti. E read Law for University of Lagos (1980-1983), captain volleyball team, go Law School Lagos and qualify as lawyer 1984. 


After Law School, he work 12 years for Murtala Aminu & Co Yola, 6 years as Head of Chambers, before he open hin own firm Tayo Jegede & Co for 1996 with office for Abuja and Yola.


He turn Notary Public 1992, and within 10 years, dem crown am Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) – na sharp guy for political cases and election petitions wey e don win plenty. 


E don handle plenty election matter and political case wey dem praise am say na legal icon, plus positions like Chancellor for Anglican Dioceses Yola and Jalingo, member American University Yola committee, and Board of Trustees Elizade University. Im firm dey strong till today. 


Governor Olusegun Mimiko appoint am Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Ondo State – na number one law officer wey change di ministry upside down with better vibe. E stay loyal to Ondo First Agenda, fix justice system, and dey handle state legal matter like pro.
