MORE COMMUNITIES TO BENEFIT AS ADEGBONMIRE COMMENCES ANOTHER PHASE OF SOLAR STREET LIGHT INSTALLATION


...Says Initiative will boost security and economic activities.



The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, has commenced the installation of another set of solar-powered street lights across more communities in Ondo Central, in continuation of his commitment to delivering meaningful and sustainable constituency projects to the people.


This latest intervention is designed to provide reliable public lighting in various communities within Ondo Central, particularly in areas where inadequate street lighting has continued to affect night-time activities, security and local commerce.


The federal lawmaker said the installation of the solar street lights is not merely about illuminating roads and streets, but about creating safer communities, supporting local businesses, improving mobility and opening up more opportunities for residents, especially young people.


The solar street lights will also help to illuminate previously dark roads, streets, junctions and community areas, thereby helping residents to move around more safely at night and equally assisting security personnel and community vigilantes in monitoring public spaces and responding more effectively to suspicious activities.


This latest installation, forms part of Senator Adegbonmire's broader constituency intervention strategy focused on projects that have direct and lasting impact on ordinary people.


The solar street-light initiative is therefore another practical demonstration that constituency representation should go beyond political promises and translate into visible development that people can see, use and benefit from.


Senator Adegbonmire reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that more communities across Ondo Central benefit from interventions that improve security, stimulate economic activities and enhance the standard of living of the people.
