​In a major bid to align legislative oversight with traditional leadership, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund, Senator Muhammad Muntari Dandutse, led a high-powered delegation of distinguished eight (8) senators from national Assembly alongside the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Umar Adam Katsayal, mni, on an official visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura, Alh. Dr. Faruk Umar Faruk CON, at his palace in Daura, Katsina State, this evening.


Steering the delegation, Senator Dandutse formally briefed the monarch on TETFund ongoing interventions and strategic mandates across tertiary institutions in Nigeria, while expressing gratitude for the royal reception and soliciting fatherly counsel to guide the committee national assignments.

Emphasizing that Nigeria remains the sole home for all its citizens, the traditional ruler called for renewed investment in peace and sustainable development, invoking divine blessings and protection upon Senator Dandutse and his team as they continue their mission to elevate public education across the federation.
